EJCDC’s Commentary on the EJCDC® Engineering Series Documents discusses the content and use of the E-Series documents. New users will gain great benefit by reading the Commentary in its entirety prior to using the documents. The Commentary explains the purpose of each E-Series document and functions as a guide to using each document. Experienced users will also benefit by using this document as reference guide. EJCDC revises its Engineering documents periodically on an individual basis. The current editions of the Engineering Series documents have been revised from 2014 through 2017. The 2018 edition of E-001 was substantially edited to address the changes to all of the Engineering series documents that have been updated since 2014. EJCDC® E-001 now includes a user friendly list of all the documents in the E-Series, write-ups for each E-series document in a natural flow with each part of the document leading to the next. PDF bookmarks have been added to the table of contents so that users can jump from one section of the document to the another without scrolling.
