The Construction Family Documents (C-Series) are intended for engineered construction projects. The current edition (2018) is endorsed by both the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA). The series comprises 25 integrated documents coordinated with Engineering Family Documents (E-Series). The C-Series documents assume the design Engineer is involved during construction. C-001 Commentary on the 2018 Construction Series Documents contains in depth descriptions of each of the 25 documents in the series and explains their use. It includes definitions of terms, cross references and abbreviations and a detailed discussion of terms and conditions. C-001 explains how to use each document during in the construction process.
