A panel composed of William Lawson, Craig Musselman, and Rebecca Bowman, NSPE Sr. Director for Ethics and Professional Practice and NAFE Executive Director will examine the duties of Canon II.  The panel will look at examples of new materials, new techniques, new technologies, consider relevant cases from the Board of Ethical Review, and review a case study.
 
William D. Lawson, P.E., Ph.D., F. NSPE is as an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering and affiliated with the Murdough Center for Engineering Professionalism at Texas Tech University. His creative activities encompass both technical research on geotechnical applications in transportation, and interdisciplinary study of professionalism, ethics, and trust/ trustworthiness in professional-client relationships. Bill is currently serving his third 3-year term on the NSPE Board of Ethical Review.
 
Craig N. Musselman, P.E., F.NSPE is a Portsmouth, NH-based environmental engineer with 47 years’ consulting engineering experience in water, wastewater and solid waste management projects.  He holds BSCE and MSCE degrees from the University of Massachusetts.  He is a Fellow of NSPE and ACEC, a Distinguished Member of ASCE and a Board Certified Environmental Engineer. His national professional service has included roles on behalf of ABET, NCEES, NSPE, ASCE, AAEES and ACEC.  
 
Rebecca A. Bowman, Esq., P.E. is principal of businesses certified in civil engineering, dispute resolution, real estate-boundary, ethics training, and legal services.  In addition to being a professional engineer and licensed attorney, she serves as an arbitrator, mediator, and Christian conciliator.  Mrs. Bowman writes a column for the PE Reporter, "Risky Business."  She received her B.S. in civil engineering from the University of North Dakota, her M.B.A. from Oklahoma University, and her J.D. from Duquesne University.  She recently joined NSPE as the Senior Directory of Ethics and Professional Practice.
