The Application for Payment is used to facilitate periodic progress payments to the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for CMAR Services, Construction Support Costs, Work completed, and for stored materials and equipment. It was written specifically to address payment on the basis of Work Authorizations and Cost of the Work compensation. In addition to serving as the vehicle for approving periodic payments to the CMAR, it also provides documents for openly sharing project financial information in a consistent manner between CMAR and Owner.
